We love nature, the city and what we build with our own hands.
We do our best to incorporate all this in our work, not only as materials but also as style.
That is why we go for a contemporary look that has just the right amount natural romance.
HOW WE STARTED
NO NO NO was founded in 2014 by Alina Popa, with the idea of fusing all the knowledge she got from her diverse work, in a space where she can constantly explore new ideas.
Alina started studying painting when she was twelve years old. She went to “Nicolae Tonitza” Art High School and afterwards to “College of Communication and Public Relations” at S.N.S.P.A..
Until 2008, when she became a flower designer, she had a main interest in iconography, acrylic and monumental painting, drawing, Photoshop, web design and textile jewellery.
She stopped at flowers because they have everything she desires from a medium.
They have colour, texture, form, smell – all in one material perfect for her ideas.
She specialised in floristry by attending “Foundation in Flower Design” at Floristiq Art, in Cluj, where she was trained by Andreea Stor (Romania), Julie Pearson (UK) and Rosa Valls (Spain).
She attended the Floristiq Art workshops of Gregor Lersch (Germany), Tomas De Bruyne (Belgium), Lucinda Van Der Ploeg (Netherlands), Lana Bates (UK), Alice Amber and Andrey Kostin (Russia).
She also attended Fusion Flowers Summers School, in Scotland with Yuko Takagi (Japan).
